Sustainability Assessment of Urban Waterscape Belt Ecological Reconstruction Based on LCA–Emergy–Carbon Emission Methodology

Rivers play a key role in regulating urban ecology, which can improve climate while slowing the heat island effect. As one of embodied energy field emergy theory be used to quantitatively evaluate ecological characteristics system. This will help further explore sustainability this article. In study, four riverbank reconstruction projects have been executed restore ecology along banks Jinchuan River Nanjing, China, focus on river–lakeside and waterfront space main area.
